Once in oncological clinic I met a man from Western coast of the USA (details omitted by the author), who was treating a tumor on his cheek. It had place in a corridor of a regional clinic in Ukraine...

Today when many of us stuck and trying to understand yesterday, today and tomorrow I want to share his #truthstory as an example of real human person behavior at hard times.

It was very attractive occasion for me. I asked him for a talking and our discussion have been started immediately. Main issues of it were why and how he ended up in this place.

He born in the 50s. All members of family had a cancer. At the child age, he was ill and got treatments. Therefore, he and his illness are old acquaintances.

At the end of Ob... Care optimization he realized that his illness said him "Hello" again. The man started consultations and made many visits to the doctors starting from therapists and finishing by tomography specialists. He spend above 6 months on tests and consultations. All this time he tried to prove that illness came back and he need a treatment. He recognized symptoms and knew that consequences of late treatment can be hard; however, the doctors were declining his diagnosis. They were wasting man’s insurance on tests again and again. The man discussed his problem with some people and they gave him recommendation to visit a Ukrainian doctor. That is how we met in a hospital.

I met him 2 weeks later after start of his treatment and he was in humor. Moreover, he was ready to fight not only the illness, but and all wasters of his insurance coverage. He spent ridiculous amount for the diagnosis and treatment of a complex disease, got video and other proofs of diagnosis, obtained treatment and costs on it. His lawyer waited for him and documents.

This story is a good example, which state that any individual can and must care about his problems and problems of his relatives. However, we must know a lot about himself. We must want to be healthy and in humor. We must analyze everything around us and study not only professional disciplines but and life with all its matters.
